Route Overview

Copper River Highway begins at the Alaska Marine Highway ferry terminal in Cordova and ends at the Million Dollar Bridge. It is one of the most scenic roads in Alaska; a pure scenery gem. The highway extends 49.5 miles.

The highway has access to various trails, hike along the old railroad bed over the bridge and up through the canyon, hunting and fishing opportunities, off-road recreation areas, and the US Forest Service's popular Childs Glacier campground and recreational site.
