Route Overview

The Prudhoe Bay motorcycle tour is about 1379 km long route consisting of 60% paved and 40% dirt/gravel surfaces. Its an extreme adventure and is advised to be undertaken by riders who have good experience on unpaved roads in a variety of adverse weather conditions.

The trip starts at Anchorage, riding through the stunning Old Glen Highway through state parks and recreation areas, petting zoos, and hiking trails and picturesque terrain. It is one of the most scenic highways and which also gives you the access to the largest north american glacier Matanuska Glacier by motorcycle. 

Its a stunning motorcycle journey with beautiful scenery views and wildlife to follow along the way. There are various recreational areas along the highway, few of the popular ones are below

Road Conditions: The roads are well built mostly along the route. Its when the route enters into the dirt highways and to slippery muddy roads. The riders should be very careful as the conditions can change instantly and drive difficult.
