Atlantic road is one of the most scenic drives in the world. It is located in the midwest part of the Norwegian coastline built in 1983 took 6 years to complete and is now a populat tourist attraction. The road paves along the edges of the sea with curvy dips, roller coaster like feel which makes it breathtaking and scary at times.

Weather : The weather in the area is unpredictable and harsh with visibility disappearing quickly, strong winds, and sudden temperature drops. The coditions become very harsh in severe weather conditions in snowstorms and blizzard. So riders are recommended to avoid route under such conditions.

Road : One of the most spectaculars roads in the world this route goes through 8 bridges one of being the Storseisundet Bridge - the tallest of the 8 and several landfills. Most of the terrain is asphalt and the curved architectural construction of the road makes one feel that they will drop off straight into the sea. The road has an open sea view and one can experience both nature and architecture on this sceenic route which is an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful nature, bendy roads and sometimes bad weather are a great combination which this route exactly offers. Visitors frequently use the road to go fishing for cod and other fish directly from the bridges.
